Chairman's Message

Mr. Trilok Parikh is the Chairman of India Renal Foundation. He has been associated with India Renal Foundation since its inception as an Advisory Board member of Ahmedabad chapter. Mr. Parikh post graduated in Arts and he also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from Gujarat University. He is a founder member and Lifetime director of Gulmohar Greens – Golf and Country Club Ltd.

His contribution to academics is noteworthy. He has to his credit more than two decades of teaching Economics at the Graduate and Post-Graduates levels and has published several educational magazines under Parikh-Zala Publication.

Mr. Parikh has served as the Honorary Secretary and Vice President of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and currently he is a senior most member of executive committee of GCCI.

Pioneer contributions of Mr. Parikh to bring club culture in the state of Gujarat is outstanding. He is one of the formative pillars for the same. He is a founder member, former President and Director of Karnavati Club Ltd. and was also Honorary Secretary and Vice President of Rajpath Club Ltd. He is also a former member of executive committee of Sport Club of Gujarat Ltd.

He has earned many accolades like, Divya Bhaskar, Gujarat has honoured him with Gujarat’s best 100 businessman, Gujarat Ratna Nilkanth Award for Gujarat’s best 100 and Glory of Gujarat Award for bringing club culture in Gujarat by the Government of Gujarat to name a few.
As the delegate of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries, He travelled around the world. He is a Social Worker and associated with Krishna Sarvjanik Hospital, Himmatnagar.

Director's Message

Shri Pravin K. Laheri, retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Gujarat cadre (1969 batch), has carried forward the tradition of service and dedication exemplified by his father, Shri Kanhaiyalal Laheri, a freedom fighter and social worker.

Shri P. K. Laheri was born in Rajkot on 28th March 1945. He completed his schooling in Rajkot, followed by graduation (B.A. Honours) from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and an LL.B. from Government Law College, Mumbai.

He began his career as an officer in the Indian Railway Accounts Service in 1967 and was later selected for the IAS by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in 1969.

From 1970 to 2005, Shri P. K. Laheri served in various key government positions, including District Development Officer (DDO), Jamnagar; Collector Banaskantha; Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Gujarat; Secretary (Industries and Finance); and Commissioner (Sales Tax). He also served as Chief Secretary of the Government of Gujarat.

Subsequently, he served as Chairman and Managing Director of Sardar sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited (SSNNL), where he played a crucial role in completing the construction of the dam, main canal, and powerhouses. This project had long been embroiled in controversy; however, Shri Laheri, through his dedication and administrative acumen, successfully overcome challenges posted by agitation as well as litigation.

Shri P. K. Laheri has also served as an advisor to the Torrent Group of companies. Post-retirement, he has devoted over two decades to social service by associating himself with several organizations, including Sadvichar Parivar, Shri Somnath Trust, B.M Institute of Mental Health, Umang school for the Hearing and speech Impaired, Gandhi Smriti Bhavnagar, Kasturba Sevashram Maroli, Gujarat Vishvakosh, and many other institutions.

He has also served as an Independent Director and Government Nominee Director on the boards of several companies and is widely respected for his in-depth knowledge of company law. He is currently serving as an Independent Director at Gulmohar Greens Golf & Country Club Ltd.

Daughter of Smt. Devyaniben and Lt Shri Arunbhai Parikh….. Wife of Alpesh Parikh, daughter in law of Sudhaben and Trilokbhai … Mother of Abhishek and Rhea…. Is a home maker and baker. Her passion for culinary made her open the doors of BY THE BAYS cafe at Gulmohar Greens. Beyond this she has played a strong role in being the back bone of lot of development which has happened at the club with her zeal and innate eye for getting the human touch to steel and concrete buildings. 

She believes that what you are is God’s gift to you and what you become and share is your gift to Him. As privileged as we are… Giving back to society is equally important, the sense of sharing and imparting education made her initiate the organisation in name of Gulmohar India Education Foundation along with chairman shri Trilokbhai Parikh. This organisation imparts education to the under privileged children of the society and today’s boasts of 60 plus students who not only get education but are now also started learning computer its newly opened computer lab. This foundation has had some great support by Pelican foundation of Mr. Anang Lalbhai. Under the guidance of Trilokbhai. she is also a director in Indian Renal Foundation.

Her work and dedication for the community was noticed during Covid time and she became part of National Indian Association (NIA) and Ishwar Prathana Samaj and was asked to join as trustee. 

Considering her interest in overall development and growth of Gulmohar Greens Golf and Country Club (company) it’s our honor to have Niyati on our board.
